The Frostelus are a sapient species of Rahi.
History[]
The first known Frostelus attack happened roughly 6,000 years before the Great Cataclysm. The Frostelus attacked a Toa Tower, which had been attacked by Vezok and Hakann previously, who stole the artifact that the Toa were guarding, the Makoki Stone. The Frostelus killed all the Toa in the fortress save Lhikan, who escaped.
It's known that Iruini and Norik encountered some Frostelus during their time as Toa Hagah. The two Toa managed to defeat the Rahi by combining their powers, creating a tornado of molten protodermis.
Some Frostelus appeared in the shores at the north of Metru Nui shortly after the Great Cataclysm. They traveled in icebergs. When they started attacking the city, Takanuva fought them and made them retreat.
The Shadowed One sent one of his Dark Hunters, Subterranean, to go and discuss with the Frostelus as the leader of the Dark Hunters though that they could be useful allies.
After Teridax was killed by a fragment of Aqua Magna, the Frostelus and the other Rahi will have to join the mass exodus to Spherus Magna to escape the Matoran Universe before it finally breaks down in order to survive.
The Kingdom[]
In the Kingdom alternate dimension, the Frostelus were one of the many species that migrated to the island of Mata Nui after the Great Spirit Mata Nui died. The Frostelus lived pacefully with the Ko-Matoran in the region of Ko-Wahi.
Abilities and Traits[]
It is rumored that the Frostelus are past victims of the Visorak hordes. The frostelus are really small creatures that live in powerful armours. The frostelus had four arms each ending with hook-like claws and had a pair of shoulder-mounted natural Rothuka Launchers. The power of the Rothuka changes between individuals due to their sapience. The Frostelus are very powerful, and they are capable of taking down Toa. They travel within icebergs.

The Frostelus model could be built from the pieces of Nokama, Nuju and Onewa Hordika. The instructions where divided beetween the three instruction booklets.
