The Morbuzahk was a sentient plant created by Makuta Teridax.
History[]
The Morbuzahk was created by Teridax after his first experiment, the Karzahni, which proved to be too independent. So Teridax created the Morbuzahk. It's purpose was to plague and terrorize the Matoran of Metru Nui, driving them closer to the Coliseum. The King Root made it's home in the Great Furnace in Ta-Metru. Its vines stretched across the entire city, and destroyed many sections. It was compelled to conquer the city of Metru Nui and enslave it's Matoran. The Toa Metru were able to defeat it using the Great Disks.
Characteristics[]
The Morbuzahk was capable of conscious thought, and could plan for future events. It was able to "talk" by a type of telepathic communication. The King Root has been described as being a huge twisted black stalk with a stripe running down the middle. Its vines were powerful, but weakened by colder temperatures.
