Skopio were a massive wasteland beast that inhabited Bara Magna. Telluris based his design of the Skopio XV-1.
History[]
Similarly to most Creatures on Bara Magna, the Skopio species would have been created by the Great Beings in an early attempt to populate Spherus Magna. They were created some time prior to the Core War and were known to have been worshipped by members of what would later become the Iron Tribe until the Dreaming Plaque struck their worshippers.
Following the Shattering, the Skopio would have been scattered. While the majority of the species members would have remained on Bara Magna a number would have been trapped on Bota Magna.
Sandray Canyon[]
In more recent times, a Skopio attacked Mata Nui, Kiina and Ackar while they were passing through Sundray Canyon on their way to Tajun. As the trio were using a Thornatus to flee from a pack of Bone Hunters, the Skopio was disturbed and attacked the Thornatus. After a brief skirmish, the Skopio was able to tip the vehicle over and send the three riders sprawling. While Kiina and Ackar began to engage the Bone Hunters in battle, Mata Nui decided to fend off the Skopio. Grabbing onto one of the four legs of the creature, Mata Nui was able to climb onto its back and use the creature's tail-mounted Thornax Launcher to attack the Bone Hunters. After being thrown off towards the side of the canyon, Mata Nui was able to use his sword to wedge open a crack in an overhanging rock. This caused the overhang to fall, crushing the Skopio in the process.
